Rev. Dr. Ophelia Garmon-Brown
Rev. Dr. Ophelia Garmon-Brown was a minister who traveled the globe as a missionary delivering free care to those in need. In her March 2021 bio, it states that through her leadership in Kenya, where she has traveled numerous times over the past 11 years, she would set up mini-health clinics. Dr. Garmon-Brown also completed medical mission work in Uganda, South Africa, Guyana, Jamaica, and other locales in the United States. One of the people who was touched by her compassion, care, and outreach of love was Johns Brown Lukoli of Uganda. To commemorate her honor, this organization was established before her passing by him and several people in Uganda and fulfilled a God-given vision to establish help for the poor. Johns and the many lives of people who were encouraged by her care in Uganda would like to allow her legacy to live on in helping the poor and needy through this organization.
