Ophelia Brown Children’s Foundation of Hope – Africa Uganda visited 11 schools in Kamuli District and provided school fees, meals, books, and pens for 34 children during the 2026 school year.

The Ophelia Brown Foundation of Hope hosted a Christmas party for 200 children in Kamuli District on December 23, 2025. Children received Christmas food packages, encouragement, and a message of God’s love.

We are convinced that education is the best way to break the cycle of poverty for children in rural villages and areas of Africa. It is well understood that poor, uneducated children grow up to be poor uneducated adults. Statistics have shown that in Africa, children of poor families are less likely to enroll or complete their schooling because of the associated costs and needed transportation to attend.
